Basketball Recap: Hebron Comes Up Short

Hebron lost against Flower Mound back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hebron Hawks fell to the Flower Mound Jaguars 55-49. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Jaguars are ranked 17th).

Hebron has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-20 record this season. As for Flower Mound, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 29-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Flower Mound beat Hebron by a score of 55-49 on Tuesday.
