Football Recap: Tri-County North Takes a Loss

Tri-County North extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They took a blow against the Tri-Village Patriots, falling 56-12. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-6.

As for Tri-Village, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Tri-Village was led to victory by Staley Colston and Trey Sagester. Colston rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while Sagester threw for 202 yards and four TDs while completing 76.2% of his passes. Sagester is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Kingston Shafer was in the mix as well, providing Tri-Village with two scores.
