Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shenendehowa). They put the hurt on the Albany Falcons with a sharp 19-1 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Plainsmen in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won eight in a row.

Shenendehowa's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Albany, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Coming up, Shenendehowa will challenge South Glens Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Plainsmen's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season. As for Albany, they will head out on the road to face off against Niskayuna at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Silver Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.43 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
