Basketball Game Preview: Lookeba-Sickles Panthers vs. Hinton Comets

The Lookeba-Sickles Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Hinton Comets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lookeba-Sickles has three straight victories, Hinton has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Lookeba-Sickles didn't have too much trouble with Fort Cobb-Broxton as they won 58-39. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Mustangs are ranked 203rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Hinton had to suffer through a 49-22 loss at the hands of Amber-Pocasset.

Lookeba-Sickles pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.5 points. As for Hinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Everything came up roses for Lookeba-Sickles against Hinton in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 74-37 victory. Does Lookeba-Sickles have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hinton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
