Baseball Recap: East Union Comes Up Short

East Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 11-6 to the Southeast Warren Warhawks. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

East Union's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Southeast Warren, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

East Union wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-3 defeat against Ankeny Christian Academy on the 17th. Southeast Warren has also already played their next matchup (against Martensdale-St. Mary's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
