A Season-Best Effort from Seth Lowry Leads Milton-Union over Bethel

Seth Lowry produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Milton-Union to the win on Friday. Lowry rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also caught a touchdown.

The win (which was Milton-Union's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Lowry will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Northridge on Friday.

Mayfield Posts Huge Game in 49-0 Win

Another Milton-Union player making an appearance on this list is Payton Mayfield. He rushed for 97 yards on only six carries, and also picked up 70 receiving yards. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 50 yards.

Bethel's probably not too fond of Mayfield given he always seems to get the better of them. When Mayfield last faced the Bees back in October of 2023, he picked up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Lehman Catholic picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Evan O'Leary. Covington had no answer to O'Leary as he picked up 170 receiving yards and two touchdowns. O'Leary didn't just play on offense: he also made eight total tackles and defended a pass.

Lehman Catholic's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. O'Leary and Lehman Catholic will welcome Troy Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lehman Catholic picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Dillon Schmiesing. Nobody could stop Schmiesing as he picked up 29 receiving yards and a touchdown.
