Legacy Charter had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Altamonte Christian Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past 84-82. The victory was familiar territory for Legacy Charter who have now won eight matchups in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legacy Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyle James, who went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave James a new career-high in points. Khori Polarchy was another key player, putting up 16 points and seven rebounds.

Legacy Charter pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.8 points per game. As for Altamonte Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-16.

Legacy Charter will square off against Central Florida Christian Academy on Friday. One thing working in Legacy Charter's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games. Altamonte Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
