Football Recap: Camden Military Takes a Loss

Camden Military lost against Wilson Hall back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans were beaten by the Barons 42-14. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

Wilson Hall's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Milling Galloway, who rushed for 74 yards and one score on only five carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and one TD. Another back making a difference was Cameron Wilsey, who rushed for 43 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

This is the second loss in a row for Camden Military and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Wilson Hall, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Camden Military will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trinity Collegiate at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. As for Wilson Hall, they will welcome Florence Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Barons 13.6, the Eagles 14.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
