Rockledge never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Titusville Terriers with a sharp 14-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Raiders sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Haley Smith was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

In other batting news, Kaylah Comeau was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ahraya Dalaq, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Rockledge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Titusville only posted an OBP of .167.

Rockledge's record is now 8-3. As for Titusville, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Rockledge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 17-2 win against Cocoa on the 24th. After both having extra time off, Titusville and Merritt Island will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:15 p.m. on the 25th. Titusville's pitchers better be ready for this one: Merritt Island has averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
