Governor Mifflin extended the longest winning streak in Berks Inter-County 1 this week by beating Pottsville, 40-0. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
The Crimson Tide fell to Governor Mifflin 40-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Travis Blankenhorn was a bright spot for Pottsville, as he caught 2 passes for 65 yards in the defeat.
Aidan Brosious was a passing and rushing force as Conrad Weiser defeated Muhlenberg. He completed 3 passes for 53 yards and also ran for 110 yards.
Blankenhorn was the best wideout in the league this week as Tom McGeoy's team fell to Dominic Vecchio's team. Blankenhorn racked up 2 receptions for 65 yards. AJ Stevens helped Pottsville's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.
The Crimson Tide's Tyler Moser and Blankenhorn have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Moser has thrown for 829 yards this season, while Blankenhorn has 20 catches for 438 yards. Alex Guilbe from the Scouts leads the league in rushing with 928 yards.
Guilbe of the Conrad Weiser is only 72 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 136 carries Guilbe has accumulated 928 yard this year.
The Red KNights are in seventh place, while Al Moyer's team is in first place.
