Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Drops Highest Score of Season Against Christian Life

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Faith Christian). They walked away with a 66-53 victory over the Christian Life Eagles on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on three straight.

Faith Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Baker, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds gave Baker a new career-high. Brady Bivins was another key player, going 8-for-20 en route to 20 points and five boards.

Faith Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've passed the ball that well.

Faith Christian's record now sits at 5-2. As for Christian Life, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Faith Christian and Unity Christian will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Christian Life, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Marian Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
