Baseball Recap: Parkview Comes Up Short

Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Marshfield Bluejays. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Saturday.

Parkview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyce Heslin, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Parkview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Marshfield, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Parkview will challenge Camdenton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marshfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Fair Grove on the 29th.
