Baseball Game Preview: Woodridge Bulldogs vs. East Canton Hornets

The Woodridge Bulldogs will challenge the East Canton Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Woodridge's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over Coventry. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Noah Lancy made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
