Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Nehemiah Sanderson and Noah Leach Lead Arnold Baptist to Victory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arnold Baptist). They walked away with a 64-53 win over the Victory Christian Academy Chargers on Monday. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 51.2 points per game.

Leading Arnold Baptist to victory were Noah Leach and Nehemiah Sanderson. Leach posted 29 points, while Sanderson had 21 points. The contest was Leach's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joe Murphy, who earned six points.

The win snapped Arnold Baptist's losing streak at three games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 2-2 record. As for Victory Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Arnold Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will square off against Heritage Classical Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Heritage Classical Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
