Softball Recap: Crown Point's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

With a playoff win on the line, Crown Point rose to the challenge on Monday. Everything went their way against the Bolton Central Eagles as they made off with a 7-1 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

The win keeps Crown Point at an undefeated 9-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average this season. As for Bolton Central, they moved to 10-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
