Volleyball Game Preview: Grandview Bulldogs vs. St. Pius X Warriors

The Grandview Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the St. Pius X Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grandview will be strutting in after a win while St. Pius X will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Grandview turned things around against Winnetonka on Thursday. They blew past the Griffins 3-0.

Grandview walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-9, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Jalen Ngo, who had ten digs and two assists. Those ten digs gave him a new career-high. Nathanial Zampieri also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

Meanwhile, St. Pius X was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Belton.

St. Pius X's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Grandview, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
