Softball Recap: Watertown Comes Up Short

Watertown lost against Brookings on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Arrows lost 12-4 to the Bobcats. The Arrows have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Watertown saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alayna Dettmann, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Watertown's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Brookings, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Watertown will venture away from home to face off against Brandon Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Arrows will need to watch out since the Lynx have now posted at least ten runs in their last six contests. As for Brookings, they will head out to challenge O'Gorman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
