Make it three blowout wins for the New Testament Christian Saints this season. They blew past Varsity Opponent, posting a 52-21 victory on the road. New Testament Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Amelia Riegsecker was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Abigail Riegsecker was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds and eight steals.
The win for New Testament Christian keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 91-327.
New Testament Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Varsity Opponent will head out on the road to face off against Northside L at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Northside L focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 two weeks ago.
