Abby Herndon made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits over seven innings pitched. Herndon has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Herndon was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI.
In other batting news, Brooks let Donna Faith Roberson and Harmony Behel loose on the outfield.
