Softball Recap: Strom Thurmond Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Strom Thurmond). They put the hurt on the Greenwood Eagles with a sharp 19-1 victory on Tuesday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Lawsyn Lowe, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Addyson Harrison, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Lowe wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Strom Thurmond kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.
