Recap: Lincoln Lions vs. Tolman Tigers

The Lincoln Lions put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 62-52 victory over Tolman. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Lincoln has scored all season.

It was another big night for Camden Dichiara, who scored 20 points. Joshua Bergeron was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

Tolman lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Malik Gelinas, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Gelinas is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Daniel Saulsby, who scored 11 points along with two steals.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 11-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Tolman, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-2.

Lincoln will take on Johnston at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Johnston's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine contests. As for Tolman, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Toll Gate at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. Toll Gate has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 14.
