Basketball Recap: Hall Takes a Loss

Hall has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Byron Tigers on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Tigers are ranked 12th).

Hall's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Byron, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-31 defeat against Galena on the 20th. As for Byron, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-43 victory against Sterling on the 20th.
