Basketball Game Preview: St. David Tigers vs. Mogollon Mustangs

Having just played yesterday, the St. David Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Mogollon Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. David has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Wednesday, everything came up roses for St. David against Valley Union as the squad secured a 56-25 win. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 266th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Mogollon was able to grind out a solid victory over Williams on Monday, taking the game 37-29.

St. David's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Mogollon, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
