 The John Champe Knights will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against the Loudoun County Captains at 6:30  p.m. The timing is sure in John Champe's favor as the  squad sits on four straight wins at home while Loudoun County has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
 John Champe can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Heritage  an   11-0 shutout. John Champe's win was all the more impressive since Heritage was averaging only 3.64 runs allowed on the season.
  Trevor Casad made a big impact no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Casad has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Casad was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Ty Kann was  incredible,  going 1-for-2 with a  home run and five  RBI.  Nick Warner was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Loudoun County earned  a  6-1 victory over Loudoun Valley  on Tuesday.
 John Champe has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record  this season. As for Loudoun County,  the  win  got them back to even at 4-4.
