On Monday, Iowa had to settle for second even though Samantha Davis put up the best numbers she has all season. Davis went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Coming up, Davis and Iowa will face off against Leesville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Davis' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Iowa's four-game streak of wins on the road.
