Kalaheo is 8-2 against Kaiser since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Kalaheo Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Kaiser Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Thursday, Kalaheo came up short against Roosevelt and fell 50-43. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Kaiser faced St. Louis in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Kaiser was outmatched by St. Louis and fell 49-22. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kaiser's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Kalaheo, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Kalaheo against Kaiser when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 79-37 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kalaheo since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
