Basketball Recap: Van-Far Comes Up Short

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 65-34, which was the final score in the Van-Far Indians's tilt against the Brown County Hornets on Wednesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Van-Far lost, don't look at Elliott Utterback. Despite the final result, she went 10 for 16 on her way to 22 points. Utterback's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Van-Far's record now sits at 2-5. As for Brown County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Van-Far didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-34 victory against Silex on the 19th. Brown County has also already played their next game, a 63-8 win against North Greene on the 19th.
