Football Game Preview: Castlewood vs. Colman-Egan

Colman-Egan have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Castlewood at 7:00 PM. Castlewood will need to watch out since Colman-Egan have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.

Last Friday, Colman-Egan put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Oldham-Ramona/Rutland to the tune of 41-3. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Colman-Egan had established a 34-3 advantage.

Meanwhile, after a dominant victory in their game two weeks ago, Castlewood were humbled. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 31-60 punch to the gut against Arlington/Lake Preston. Castlewood's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Colman-Egan were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Castlewood 54-13. Colman-Egan's win shoved Castlewood out of the playoffs, so expect the team will have a target on their back in this one.
