Basketball Recap: Miller Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pierce City last Tuesday, Miller came back down to earth. The Miller Cardinals had to suffer through a 63-26 loss at the hands of the Skyline Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Tigers are ranked 20th).

Miller's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Skyline, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

Miller wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-51 win against Ash Grove on the 4th. As for Skyline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-62 victory against Tipton on the 6th.
