River Road is a perfect 10-0 against Tulia since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will host the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (River Road has eight straight victories, Tulia has 13 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
River Road is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Dalhart get on the board and left with a 23-0 win on Tuesday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Carol Koval made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, River Road let Emma Kilman and Ava Sharp run wild. Kilman went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Sharp went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Motes, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
River Road kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Tulia lost 11-1 to Canadian on Tuesday.
River Road's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-8. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Tulia, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.
River Road took their victory against Tulia in their previous matchup on Friday by a conclusive 21-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
