Kenwood took a six-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Northwest, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Vikings 2-1. While Kenwood didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-9-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Tumaini Murokore and Kyle Hunter scored both of Kenwood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Kenwood and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Northwest, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

As for Northwest, they will head out to challenge Rossview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rossview's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Northwest's offense will have their work cut out for them.
