Volleyball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Monroe Township Falcons. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in May of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Monroe Township, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison will challenge Colonia at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Monroe Township, they will face off against Northern Burlington at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
