Baseball Game Preview: Issaquah Eagles vs. Mount Si Wildcats

Issaquah is 1-9 against Mount Si since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Eagles will welcome the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Issaquah 3.5, Mount Si 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Issaquah fell victim to Newport - Bellevue and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 6-0. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Issaquah saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Uchimura, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Meanwhile, Mount Si also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 4-0 to Eastlake on Wednesday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Owen Krasowski was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits.

Mount Si's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6. As for Issaquah, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
