Football Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jefferson can now relate to. They came up short against the Commerce Tigers on Friday, falling 40-14. The Bulldogs gained 78 more yards on the day, but it was the Tigers that made the best use of them.

Although Jefferson took the loss, they still got scores from Kobin Tomlinson and Travis Gray Jr.

Aidan Brown had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 102 yards and one TD, while also throwing for 83 yards and four touchdowns for Commerce. That's the most passing touchdowns Brown has posted since back in August. Ky'mani Graham was another key player, rushing for 80 yards and one score.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Commerce, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Commerce, they will face off against Pilot Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
