Baseball Game Preview: Mission Eagles vs. Juarez-Lincoln Huskies

For the second straight game, Mission will face off against Juarez-Lincoln. Mission will square off against Juarez-Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Considering Mission has lost three straight at home and Juarez-Lincoln 12 straight on the road (dating back to last season), this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.

While Mission's victory against Juarez-Lincoln wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Mission had just enough and edged out Juarez-Lincoln 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

For Juarez-Lincoln's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pedro Sandoval, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Sandoval has posted since back in March of 2024.

Juarez-Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Mission, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
