Parkway North jumped into the top 25 in the state rankings. Parkway North moved up from No. 54 in the state all the way to No. 21 thanks to a 3-0 record over the past week. Led by manager Fred Friedman, the Vikings are ranked No. 502 in the nation with an overall record of 19-9.
The Vikings (19-9, 5-1) are red-hot, having won four straight games, the longest such streak in Suburban - South. In the past week, Parkway North won another three games, including a 7-5 victory over Howell North and an 11-6 win over Christian Brothers.
Seckman's pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only 11 hits and eight walks, both of which led the league. On the season, the Jaguars have allowed just 205 hits, while striking out 157 batters.
Christian Rieger leads the Jaguars with 40 strikeouts in 41 innings pitched.
