Soccer Recap: Liberty Victorious

After losing to Vidor the last time they met, Liberty decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Liberty Panthers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Vidor Pirates on Friday.

Liberty's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Vidor, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Liberty will square off against Hardin-Jefferson at 2:25 p.m. on Saturday. Hardin-Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season. As for Vidor, they will take on Hamshire-Fannett in a tournament on Saturday. Hamshire-Fannett's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
