Softball Recap: Shoals Takes a Loss

Shoals was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-3 to the Northeast Dubois Jeeps. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jug Rox of the 14-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Shoals' defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Northeast Dubois, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Coming up, Shoals will head out on the road to square off against North Daviess at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Jug Rox surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northeast Dubois, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Spencer at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
