Volleyball Recap: Red Lodge Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Rayne Cook and Tacelyn Christman + How To Watch

After flying high against Joliet on Thursday, Red Lodge came back down to earth. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Huntley Project Red Devils on Saturday. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Red Lodge took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-18.

Red Lodge's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tacelyn Christman, who had 13 digs and one assist, and Rayne Cook, who had 15 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, Cook is now averaging an impressive 10.4 digs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Buescher, who had six digs.

Red Lodge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Huntley Project, the victory was the eighth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Red Lodge will take on Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Huntley Project, they will square off against St. Labre Indian Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
