Football Recap: Central Starts off Right with Win over Pinson Valley + How To Watch

Central had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Pinson Valley Indians, posting a 59-16 victory. Given the Red Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked second, while the Indians are ranked 47th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jayshaun Woodhouse was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 126 yards and two scores on only five carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 95 yards. Donovan Crow was another key back, rushing for 55 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries.

Central has already played their next match, a 38-35 win against The First Academy on the 29th. As for Pinson Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-15 victory against Gardendale on the 29th.
