Boyne City posted their closest victory since January 16, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past the Cheboygan Chiefs 50-48. This was a revenge game for the Ramblers: when they faced off against the Chiefs back in February, they had to take a 51-35 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Boyne City and bumps their season record up to 13-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points over those games. As for Cheboygan, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season.

Boyne City will take on Kingsford in a tournament on Tuesday. Kingsford will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Boyne City surely won't give up without a fight. Cheboygan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
