Basketball Recap: Lake Region Comes Up Short

Lake Region lost against York on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lake Region Lakers took a 46-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the York Wildcats. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Region now has a losing record at 7-8. As for York, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Lake Region will head out on the road to take on Poland at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for York, they will face off against Cape Elizabeth at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. York is facing Cape Elizabeth at the right time seeing as Cape Elizabeth is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
