King Stancil went supernova, rushing for 160 yards and three scores while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. Those 160 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Wittke, who picked up 121 receiving yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Denver West was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 303 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Resurrection Christian against University on Friday as the team secured a 42-15 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Britton Walston and Michael Kelly. Walston had a great game and rushed for 128 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries. Meanwhile, Kelly was balling out in the loss, picking up 92 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also rushing for 54 yards on only seven carries.

Denver West's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Resurrection Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
