Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ponaganset). Everything went their way against the Middletown Islanders on Wednesday as they made off with a 14-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Chieftains in their matchups with the Islanders: they've now won three in a row.

Ponaganset's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Middletown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
