Basketball Game Preview: King's Ridge Christian Tigers vs. Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots

King's Ridge Christian hasn't had much luck against Mount Pisgah Christian recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The King's Ridge Christian Tigers will welcome the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

King's Ridge Christian is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Whitefield Academy on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. King's Ridge Christian was outmatched by Whitefield Academy and fell 81-38. The Tigers were down 56-34 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Mount Pisgah Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by Galloway 72-22. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 439th, while the Scots are ranked 53rd).

King's Ridge Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

King's Ridge Christian was taken down by Mount Pisgah Christian 59-30 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Thankfully for King's Ridge Christian, Morgan Blake (who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 16 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
