Volleyball Recap: Boulder's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Boulder's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Westminster Wolves with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The win didn't come easy: Westminster scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 26-24.

Trevor Gale paced Boulder's offense, picking up seven kills. Gale got some help from Jake Wu and his 20 assists. Eita Ishikawa controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Westminster, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Boulder wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Legacy on the 10th. Westminster has also already played their next game (against Alameda), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
