Basketball Recap: Madison Mavericks vs. LEE Volunteers
Madison lost against LEE back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Madison Mavericks were dealt a 74-41 loss at the hands of the LEE Volunteers. While losing is never fun, the Mavericks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 922nd, while the Volunteers are ranked 251st).

Despite the loss, Madison still got an impressive performance from Jada Castleberry, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards. Castleberry is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Campa, who posted six points.
LEE was led to victory by Rosanelly Pastrano and Lilah Yanover. Pastrano dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 boards, while Yanover earned 24 points along with six boards and three steals.
