Softball Recap: Albany Comes Up Short

Albany managed to slip by Foley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Huskies lost 10-3 to the Falcons on Tuesday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Albany saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keira Horning, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Cora Rushmeyer was another, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Albany now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Foley, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Albany will be playing at home against Osakis at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Silverstreaks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Foley, they will face off against Eden Valley-Watkins at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
