Soccer Recap: Ponderosa Starts off Right with Win over Green Mountain + How To Watch

Ponderosa took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They never let the Green Mountain Rams get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Even though Ponderosa got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Dylan Brendlinger was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Michael Figueroa and Zach Senior scored both of Ponderosa's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

This is the second loss in a row for Green Mountain and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ponderosa will host Thomas Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Green Mountain, they will square off against Chatfield at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
