Louisville got a good showing from Carter Deem, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.

At the plate, Luke Seaman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Those hits marked the first that he got this season.

Meanwhile, University School put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Kenston get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The Preppers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by six runs or more this season.

On the hitting side, Cayden Zelenak was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Bobby Berglund was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

University School was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kenston only posted a batting average of .160.

University School pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Louisville, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Louisville was able to grind out a solid victory over University School in their previous matchup back in June of 2022, winning 3-0. Do the Leopards have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Preppers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
